Juliana Kanyomozi






Juliana Kanyomozi popularly known as Juliana is a Ugandan musician and actress. Juliana was born in Uganda on 27th November 1981. She attended Namasagali College in Kamuli District in Uganda.

Juliana became famous in the late 1990s as one half of all girl duo I-Jay,with Iryn Namubiru  After the duo disbanded, Juliana launched a solo career that has included the release of such popular songs as Nabikoowa, usiende mbali nami, Nkulinze, Kanyimbe, My heart, Malaika wange etc.

Juliana was the first female musician to win the Pearl of Africa Music Awards (PAM Awards) 'Artist of the Year' accolade. In 2008, she was voted Uganda's Fashion Icon, and she made her film debut in Henry H. Ssali's "Kiwani: The Movie". She won the Artist of the year award for the two consecutive years 2008 and 2009.

Juliana is single, and the mother of a son named Keron Kabugo, whose father is Amon Lukwago, a Ugandan businessman.
