Omotola Jalade Ekeinde






Omotola is a Nigerian actress. She was born on 7th February 1978. Omotola has appeared in countless number of nollywood movies. 
Omotola attended Christland School in Opebi Lagos from 1981 - 1987. Then she attended Oxford children school in 1987, and Command Secondary School in Kaduna from 1988 - 1993. She joined Yaba College of Technology in 1996 where she studied Estate management and completed her studies in 2004.

Her first acting role was in 1995 in the movie "Venom of Justice" and she got her first big role with the movie Mortal Inheritance in 1995.

Omotola is married to Captain Matthew Ekeinde who is the pilot in 1996. Omotola is a mother of four, Princess Ekeinde, M.J Ekeinde, Meriah Ekeinde and Michael Ekeinde. 

Omotola launched her reality show "The Real Me" in 2012 and like many other celebrities Omotola is the founder of Charity Foundation called Omotola Youth Empowerment Programme (OYEP).

Omotola became a United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Ambassador in 2005. She also became an Amnesty International Campaigner in 2011 and has participated in campaigns in Sierra-Leone and Nigeria.
