Ini Edo

Iniobong Edo Ekim popularly known as Ini Edo, is a Nigerian actress and among the top actresses in Nollywood. She was born on 19th April, 1982. Ini Edo studied Diploma in theatre arts at the University of Uyo, Nigeria. She also completed her Bachelors Degree program at the University of Calabar in Nigeria where she studied English. Ini Edo is an Ibibio from Akwa Ibom state in the South-east, Nigeria. Her mother was a teacher and her father, a church elder. She is the second born in a family of four children, three girls and one boy. 

Ini Edo got married to Phillip Ehiagwina, a businessman and a US-based Nigerian in November 2008 (a Traditional wedding) and had her white wedding in February 2009 in Houston, Texas, USA where her husband is based.

Her first film was "Thick Madam" in 2003 and since then she has featured in over 100 films.

Apart from her acting career, Ini Edo also participates in charitable trust, despite her busy work schedule, she carves out time and energy to visit and assist the less fortunate in the society.
